2 fl oz (50 ml) brandy
1 fl oz (25 ml) white crème de menthe
crushed ice cubes as required
1 sprig(s) of mint

1. Shake all the ingredients together in a cocktail shaker with ice cubes
.
2. Strain the mixture into chilled cocktail glass(es) and serve garnished with sprig(s) of mint.

1 fl oz (25 ml) vodka
1 fl oz (25 ml) Tia Maria or Kahlùa
1 fl oz (25 ml) full cream milk
6 ice cubes

1. Place half the cracked ice cubes in a cocktail shaker. Pour the vodka, Tia Maria or Kahlùa and full cream milk. Shake to mix well.
2. Strain over highball glass(es) filled with the remaining cracked ice cubes.
3. Serve with a straw.

Plum Liqueur

1 1/2 lb Fresh plums
2 c Vodka
1 1/2 c Sugar syrup (see recipe)
1 pn Cinnamon

Plums can be found from May to August. Choose rich coloured ones
ranging from fairly firm to slightly soft. Avoid hard, shriveled,
poorly coloured, soft, bruised or split ones. Halve and pit plums and
combine in jar with vodka (gin may be used also), sugar syrup, and
cinnamon. Cover and invert jar daily until sugar is disolved (about 4
days). Place in a cool dark place for 3 months. Occasionally shake
gently. Strain. Ready to serve. Yield: 3 cups plus Container:

* 1 cup (250 ml) unsalted almonds, chopped
* 4 cups (1 L) vodka
* A 2″ (5 cm) piece of cinnamon stick
* 1/3 cup(80 ml) sugar

Directions

1. Combine all ingredients in a large bottle or jar and shake thoroughly.
2. Let steep for 3 to 4 weeks.
3. Strain through a coffee filter or several layers of cheesecloth and add more sugar if Necessary.
4. Makes about 1 quart (1 L).

Description
A delicious recipe for Fall Spice Cordial, with brown sugar, sugar, apple juice, vanilla extract, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, cloves, allspice, orange, brandy and vodka. Also lists similar drink recipes.
Ingredients
1/2 cup light brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
2 1/4 cups apple juice
1 tsp real vanilla extract
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp ground ginger
1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
1/4 tsp ground cloves
1/2 tsp ground allspice
1/2 tsp dried, chopped orange peel
1 cup white brandy
1/2 cup 100 proof vodka

Method
Bring brown sugar, white sugar and apple juice to a boil over medium-high heat. Add cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, cloves, allspice and orange peel. Boil for 4 minutes and remove from heat. Let stand until just warm. Transfer to a clean 1 qt aging vessel. Add vanilla, brandy and vodka. Cover tightly and let stand for 1-4 weeks. Filter out solids before bottling.
Serve : Cordial Glass

Description
A delicious recipe for Saurian Brandy, with orange, vodka, sugar and grade A maple syrup. Also lists similar drink recipes.
Ingredients
1/4 cup grated orange rind
1 pint 100 proof vodka
1 cup sugar
2/3 cup grade A maple syrup

Method
Put orange rind in a half-pint jar with 1/4 cup vodka. Seal it and shake occasionally. Let it steep overnight.


Pour sugar and 1 2/3 cups vodka into a 28 ounce bottle. Seal it and shake until all the sugar is dissolved, then add the maple syrup.


Filter the orange extract through a fine handkerchief or coffee filter until it becomes clear.


Add a tablespoon of the final extract to the vodka syrup mixture and mix well. If your orange peels are much more or less aromatic than average, adjust the quantity so that you have enough to hide the maple flavor, without having enough to make the liqueur bitter or recognizably orange flavored.
